Postdoctoral Research Associate (Optical and Nanoelectrochemical Signal Detection and Processing)
Postdoctoral Research Associate positions are available immediately in the Center for Ecogenomics in the Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University to work with Center students, staff, and faculty on the design, implementation and testing of circuits and systems to detect, amplify, and process minute signals of optical and electrochemical origin. Successful candidates will join a multidisciplinary, multi-center team participating on several projects directed toward single cell analysis, nanopore DNA sequencing and related subjects.
For consideration, candidates must have earned a PhD in electrical engineering, physics, or other appropriate field at the time of appointment, and must have experience in mixed signal, low-noise circuit and device design. Background in physical optics, physical chemistry, electrochemistry or molecular biological instrumentation is a plus. Salary and benefits are competitive. This appointment is renewable annually for a maximum of three years, contingent on satisfactory performance, availability of funding, and the needs of the program.
