Postdoctoral Research Scholar
The Center for Infectious Diseases & Vaccinology in the Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University has openings for postdoctoral research scholars with experience with molecular biology and protein biochemistry. The positions require a PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology or a related life science. Candidates should have excellent experience performing independent research. The research includes development of new gene expression system for high-level expression of transgenic proteins in plants, design and development of new therapeutics with enhanced efficacy and modification of plant post-translational modification pathways. Assignments may include participation in publication and research proposal preparation and mentoring of other research staff. The research may be performed at either the Tempe or the Polytechnic campus of ASU.
