Bio

Chris Diehnelt, PhD, directs the “doc-in-a-box,” a project to create biosignature technology for widespread detection of presymptomatic signs of disease.

Before ASU, Dr. Diehnelt worked as assistant research professor at the Center for Biomedical Invention at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Diehnelt received the majority of his training in Texas. In Denton, Texas, he earned a BS in chemistry from the University of North Texas. And at College Station, Texas, Dr. Diehnelt received his PhD in analytical chemistry from Texas A&M University. Continuing his work in analytical chemistry, he completed postdoctoral work at the US Environmental Protection Agency in 2004.
