Melvin Holcom, Ph.D. is director of Human Resources and Organizational Development for the Biodesign Institute. Melvin is a seasoned strategic and operations focused Human Resources executive with an impressive background of designing and executing high-performance, integrated HR programs aligned to drive strategic business intent. He has held senior roles spanning broad disciplines of HR management that include strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance and productivity, leadership development, compensation, HRIS/ERP management, organizational development and change. He has advised senior executives for both public and private sector organizations as both a valued member and strategic partner to executive committees.
Melvin holds a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Texas Christian University completing his studies in organizational effectiveness and productivity and holds Bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Psychology from Kansas Wesleyan University. He is certified as a Senior Professional of Human Resources and holds membership with the Society for Human Resource Management and Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
