I have recently joined the Mor lab as a Masters student. I am going to be working on the ongoing HIV plant based vaccine project under the guidance of Dr Mor and Dr Matoba. We plan to begin a new assay system known as the Neutralisation assay. We will be developing pseudoviruses which as the name suggests will not be real viruses. This assay will help to primarily detect the neutralization antibodies produced in the immune system on injecting mice with our CTB-P1 constructs.
Each month, innovative research from the Biodesign Institute appears in the world’s premier scientific journals. Many such studies have graced the covers of these journals, showcasing Biodesign research ranging from water remediation to nanometer-scale structures built from DNA.
